In this workshop, I recreated my late grandmother’s recipe. We set the table how she would set the table when we would commune together and eat. This was part of an experiment I called Goldilocks Conditions in which I try to –– in recreating the atmosphere, recipe, and tablescape of a departed loved one –– resurrect them sensorially in memory and have them visit once more as we commune together in their memory.
